I’m Billie, the artist behind Studio Billie Arts. I earned my BFA in Photography and Painting from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2015, and since then I’ve worked in all kinds of art-related fields around Austin.
I started Studio Billie Arts because I believe everyone deserves more fun, color, and whimsy in their life. I love painting, making paper-mâché props, photographing with film and other analogue processes, and—most of all—making space for people to be creative.
I’ve worked with everyone from Kindergarten students to retired adults, teaching through schools, local bars and breweries, private events, and one-on-one lessons. Whether you’re picking up a paintbrush for the first time, learning a new technique, or stepping in front of a film camera, my goal is to create a supportive, welcoming environment where you can experiment, get a little messy, and enjoy the process.
At Studio Billie Arts, it’s not about making “perfect” art. It’s about having fun, working with your hands, trying something new, and making something that feels like yours.
